Individual writing supervisions
Individual online and in-person writing supervisions can be scheduled in throughout the year (during and out of term) and are tailored to your needs.
The individual writing supervisions provide participants with consistent support throughout a piece of written work to ensure accurate and highest quality submissions of reports, dissertations, papers and research proposals. The supervisions focus on structure, logical flow, the effective development of ideas, accuracy, critical analysis and editing techniques.
You can either book supervisions in advance on the Moodle schedule or at your convenience by emailing David Tual.
Booking a supervision
- Michaelmas term supervision bookings will open on Monday 7 October 2024
- Lent term supervision bookings will open on Monday 2 December 2024
- Easter term supervision bookings will open on Monday 17 March 2025
You can either book supervisions on the Moodle schedule or at your convenience by emailing David Tual.
Bookings can be made and cancelled up to 2 working days of the supervision time slot. If you are unable to attend your supervision and do not cancel it ahead of time, this hour will be deducted from your total supervision time (unless you notify clic-enquiries@eng.cam.ac.uk and your slot can be reallocated).
Once you have booked, please send your work by email in advance to your CLIC supervisor so they have time to read it through and prepare. Work sent in advance maximises your supervision time.
