On this one-week educational trip to Berlin you'll have the chance to practise your German, to meet fellow engineering students and to visit companies and museums in Berlin. It takes place from Sunday 17th March until Sunday 24th March 2024.
Eligibility:
Your language level should be middle intermediate or above but please do get in touch with Jan Bogdanovic if your level is lower intermediate or you have knowledge of German but are not taking a German course at CLIC. Priority for the trip is given to students as per the list below:
- CUED 4th year UG students who took/ are taking a CLIC course
- Other CUED UG students who took/ are taking a CLIC course
- CUED PG students who took/ are taking a CLIC course
- UG students from other departments (ChemEng, Chemistry, Mat Sci) who are taking a CLIC course
- CUED UG/PG who didn’t take a CLIC course
Costs:
- A £50 non-refundable deposit.
- Travel to and from Berlin (up to the student to organise and pay for). Please note: if you choose to travel green (by train or bus) we will refund your £50 deposit.
- Some meals will be FREE (most of them will have to be covered by the participants)
- Transport during the trip is FREE (students will receive a 7-day pass).
- Accommodation is FREE
- Visits are FREE

Registration:
Please register your interest with here by Sunday 19th November. Spaces will then be allocated based on the list of priority above and you'll receive the registration link on Tuesday 21st November 2024. Registration closes on Tuesday 28th November. Any remaining places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
A £50 non-refundable deposit is payable through E-Sales upon registration.
