This educational trip is for those students with a German language level of Upper Intermediate or above, open to all Engineers with priority given to those attending a language course. This trip is to enable students to practice their chosen language, to meet fellow engineering students and to visit companies and sights in Frankfurt and Darmstadt. The trip takes place from 19th – 26th March 2023.
Costs
- A £50 non-refundable deposit.
- Travel to and from Frankfurt a.M. (up to the student to organise and pay for). Please note: if you choose to travel green (by train or bus) we will refund your £50 deposit.
- Some meals will be FREE (most of them will have to be covered by the participants)
- Transport during the trip is FREE (students will receive a 7-day pass).
- Accommodation is FREE
- Visits are FREE
Programme
The topic of the trip will be “The Future of Mobility” in a very broad meaning of the term. During the trip we will visit different Universities and research facilities in the Rhein-Main area, including the Technical University Darmstadt and the University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt. Participants will have the chance to engage and get to know German engineering students and to dive into German language and culture.
Registration
Registration for the trip will be from 10am, Friday, 18th November 2022 until Friday, 25th November 2022. You will receive the registration link after talking to Jan Bogdanovic. This year, priority will be given to 4th year students (who are able to sign up before the official registration starts by contacting Jan Bogdanovic directly). Any remaining places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
A £50.00 non-refundable* deposit is payable through e-Sales.
