Study trip to Cologne and Aachen

This educational trip is for those students with a German language level of Upper Intermediate or above, open to all Engineers with priority given to those attending a language course. This trip is to enable students to practice their chosen language, to meet fellow engineering students and to visit companies and sights in Cologne and Aachen.

The trip takes place from 15th - 22nd March 2020. Those signing up for the trip will have to pay a £30 non-refundable deposit, travel to and from Germany and food during the stay. Accommodation and transport within the cities visited is free.

Visit from German students

There will also be a visit from the RWTH Aachen students (dates tba). We ask that, if possible, you make sure that your exchange student is settled in their college (usually the college you are at) room on arrival. Apart from this there is no commitment on your part, although you will be invited to a formal dinner with the teacher and exchange students at some time during the week. You can organise other social events if you wish but there is no request from CLIC to do so.

Registration for EXCHANGES/TRIPS will be from from 10am, Tuesday, 19th November 2019 until Tuesday, 26th November 2019 on a first come first served basis. Please fill out this Registration Form and return to the CLIC coordinator, with your £30 deposit.
